Scouting Seasons

The National Incubation Center (NIC) Quetta hosts two batches of startups a year. For each batch, NIC Quetta team visits various districts of Balochistan and organizes nationwide events to bring entrepreneurs and innovators together on competitive platforms. When our team identifies a promising high-growth or high-impact startup led by a passionate team, the founders are invited to meet with NIC’s Foundation Council at its next meeting.

Summer Season

Scouting period: June to July

Incubation: August to November
Investor Summit: December

Winter Season

Scouting period: November to December
Foundation Council Meeting: January
Incubation: February to May

The Foundation Council consists of seasoned and successful entrepreneurs and businessmen. The council members spend quality time with the startup founders and evaluate them on the following criteria:

Team strength and completeness
Value proposition of product or service
Market size or social impact potential
Business model
Traction (if any)
Passion for entrepreneurship

After careful consideration of every startup presented to them, the council members collectively decide on which ventures to incubate at the Incubation program.
