Faulty thermostats in laboratory and poultry incubators cause temperature fluctuations, hatching failures, and damage to samples and eggs. The document emphasizes the need for accurate, sensitive, and affordable thermostats to maintain stable conditions in research and hatchery environments.

Description
When working with an electrical incubator, using a thermostat can be risky. If a person makes a mistake while adjusting it, the temperature can suddenly rise and cause danger to the chicks inside.
In poultry incubators, a small mistake in temperature can destroy the eggs or badly affect their growth.
Temperature changes (fluctuation) can harm the eggs and chicks. To avoid this, using thermostats in different climate areas is necessary so the machine keeps working properly.
Most hatcheries, laboratories, and research centers use incubators in places where it’s difficult to keep the temperature stable.
In many cases, poultry incubators and laboratory incubators do not work properly because the environment around them doesn’t stay the same all the time.
After these problems were noticed, it was decided to improve the use of thermostats so that the temperature could be controlled better and safely.
If a poultry incubator is made with a thermostat, it can produce around 4,000 desi (local) chicks at a time, which can be prepared at a very low cost.
This is a big achievement because with the help of this machine, instead of buying expensive foreign chicks, farmers can raise local chicks. These local chicks have stronger natural resistance power and require less vaccination compared to foreign breeds.
The design and performance of this thermostat/incubator have also been approved by PCSIR (Pakistan Council of Scientific and Industrial Research).
